Job summary

PSA Singapore in Singapore is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust applications supporting terminal operations and business users.

You will collaborate with users, vendors, and project managers to translate requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions using Java, C, and C++. A strong foundation in relational databases (Oracle/SQL) and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
Proficient in programming (C, C++, JAVA) and relational databases (Oracle, SQL).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Be prepared to work in a team providing 24x7 system support.
Hands on experience in frameworks like Angular, Spring Boot; Cloud Foundry or similar cloud technology.
Proficiency in Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum
Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain software applications as described.
Coordinate with users, vendors and project managers to translate needs into technical specifications.
Work with technologies like Java, C, C++ to deliver robust systems.
Ensure reliability and support for 24x7 operations.
