Job description

System Engineer (Marine | West | Upto $5500)

• Lead engineering design by understanding client requirements and providing suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and manage engineering documentation (VDRL) and ensure timely, accurate closure of client comments.
• Develop concept sketches and guide AutoCAD drafters to produce final engineering drawings.
• Apply industry standards and best practices throughout the design and documentation process.
• Supervise technicians in equipment assembly, cabinet integration, system configuration, testing, and verification.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), provide client training, and support commissioning activities.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support business operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Telecommunications or related technical field.
• 4-5 years of proven experience in a similar engineering role within industrial markets.
• Effective communicator with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams; capable of team leadership.
• Results-driven, resourceful, and able to work under time constraints.
• Good to have AutoCAD certification.
• Experience in site commissioning or radio surveying (SOLAS / MODU) is a plus.
• Familiarity with coverage tools such as CadnaA (PAGA), Ekahau (WiFi), and iBwave (UHF/GSM) is beneficial.
