Job description

Provide L1/L2 application and system support, including monitoring CPU, memory, logs, and services.

Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.

Perform routine system checks, updates, patching, and backups.

Monitor application health, respond to alerts, and elevate issues to L3 teams or vendors as required.

Manage incidents and service requests via ticketing system, ensuring timely closure.

Assist in system testing, deployment, and post‑deployment support.

Maintain accurate technical documentation, issue logs, and resolution procedures.

Support user access management, system configuration, and security enforcement.

Participate in Kubernetes/Docker cluster operations, including log monitoring and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and compliance.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in application maintenance, system support, or server infrastructure setup.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker, including experience in managing application logs.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Xen, KVM, OpenStack, CloudStack, Azure Stack).
  • Familiarity with cloud orchestration, configuration management, and auto‑scaling techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS), and WiFi setup.
  • Experience with storage technologies (NAS, SAN, SDS, Ceph file systems such as RBD, CephFS).
  • Hands‑on experience with automation/configuration tools (Salt, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
  • Proficiency in scripting/coding (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl) and Linux OS administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • Knowledge of IT security standards (CIS, IM8), policy management, and hardware/server restoration.
