Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a highly motivated Software System Engineer to support Day 2 operations, maintenance and enhancement of mission-critical systems in a 24/7 environment in Singapore.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration with Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and monitor system reliability, security and performance across Linux and Windows servers. Collaborate with Day 1, infra, cyber security and project teams to ensure DR readiness and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Day 2 operations, incident investigation and RCA.
• Experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Familiarity with container orchestration and cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Day 2 operational support for mission-critical applications and platform services.
• Perform incident investigation, troubleshooting, RCA, and issue resolution.
• Support production deployment activities, rollback activities, and post-deployment verification.
• Monitor system health, application performance, logs, and operational alerts.
• Collaborate with Day 1 support, infra, software, security, and project teams.
• Support DR, business continuity, and standby/on-call activities.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, governance and security policies.
