Job summary

MyRepublic Broadband PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced System Infrastructure & Reliability professional to maintain and secure our backend for a nationwide telecom network in Singapore.

You will manage Proxmox VE and cloud storage across locations, ensuring high availability and efficient issue resolution. The role emphasizes security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and automation to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in System Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related role.
• Strong experience administering Linux-based operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox VE, VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, ELK Stack, Splunk, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, system hardening, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools such as Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for timely incident alerting and security lifecycle management.
• Coordinate internal and external compliance audits and ensure timely completion of required activities.
• Work with VA/PT providers on asset scanning, vulnerability tracking, and remediation.
• Monitor emerging vulnerabilities and exploits, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement automation solutions using modern frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline system administration, monitoring, and incident response processes.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, cybersecurity developments, and industry best practices.

How you'll contribute to MyRepublic's success:

System Infrastructure & Reliability

Manage internal cloud servers and storage infrastructure running Proxmox VE across multiple locations.

Support daily infrastructure operations, troubleshoot system issues, and respond to technical queries from internal departments.

Security Monitoring & Incident Response

Implement and manage monitoring solutions for core network functions to identify system issues and potential security threats.

Coordinate internal and external compliance audits and ensure timely completion of required activities.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

Develop and implement automation solutions using modern frameworks to improve operational efficiency.

Identify opportunities to streamline system administration, monitoring, and incident response processes.

Stay informed about emerging technologies, cybersecurity developments, and industry best practices.
