Job description

We are seeking for a System Control Engineer (1–3 years’ experience) to join our solution engineering team. This is a hands-on role involving the design, development, and integration of electrical and automation systems for green vessels. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in industrial automation and be eager to learn and grow in the fast-evolving marine electrification sector.

  • Assist in the design and development of vessel electrical and automation systems.
  • Prepare, interpret, and update electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Support PLC programming, configuration of VFDs, motor controllers, and motion control systems.
  • Work with breakers, contactors, and control panels to support system integration.
  • Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and vessel commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot system issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Ensure designs comply with class, safety, and quality standards.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in industrial automation or control engineering.
  • Basic experience with PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with marine systems is an advantage.
