Job description

Responsibilities

• Guide and coordinate project activities, facilitating seamless interaction with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Architect, build, and implement software applications that directly address business goals.
• Act as a conduit between IT and business units, meticulously gathering and translating operational requirements.
• Develop, test, and release code employing current programming paradigms and frameworks.
• Generate and maintain thorough documentation supporting application design, development, and rollout procedures.
• Diagnose and effectively remedy challenges associated with software systems, integrations, and operations.
• Oversee code validation processes, providing constructive feedback to enhance code reliability, maintainability, and efficiency.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to enrich application features and maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

• Achievement of a diploma or degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a closely related discipline.
• Possess a minimum of three years’ expertise in software or application development roles.
• Demonstrate proficiency in a range of programming languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Practical experience working with low-code application platforms; familiarity with solutions like OutSystems and/or Workato is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of database management, including hands-on use of SQL and integration of web services/APIs (REST, SOAP).
