Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. invites a System Analyst to implement large-scale data warehouse and analytics platforms within the financial services sector. The role requires banking domain knowledge, finance analytics, and expertise in credit risk reporting and regulatory disclosures.

You will profile data, design data models, map to core banking and finance systems, and author functional specs and test strategies while collaborating with business, operations and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing large-scale data warehouse and analytics platforms in financial services.
• Good functional knowledge of Retail bank, Wholesale & Global Markets products & processes.
• Finance analytics expertise including reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, reporting.
• Credit risk analytics expertise including Basel reporting and risk disclosures.
• Ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate large data sets.
• Experience in profiling data and writing queries for analysis and testing.
• Experience designing data models (Teradata FSDM, dimensional models).
• Knowledge of mapping attributes from core banking and finance systems.
• Experience authoring functional specs and solution documents.
• Experience building test strategies and scripts; data governance exposure.
• Exposure to big data tools (Hue, Impala) and ETL (Informatica) tools; BI reporting.

Good functional knowledge of Retail bank, Wholesale & Global Markets products & business processes

Finance Analytics expertise - Financial Reconciliation, Allocation, Fund Transfer Pricing, Budgeting, Forecasting, Performance Management & Regulatory Reporting

Credit Risk Analytics expertise Basel Reporting (Capital provisioning, RWA, EAD, EL), Credit Risk Exposure Reporting (Industry, Disclosures, Country of Risk), NPL, Counterparty Risk Reporting

Proven analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information

Experience in profiling data, query scripting for analysis & testing purposes

Expertise in designing data models (Teradata FSDM, Dimensional Models, Reporting Tables)

Knowledge & experience of mapping attributes from products systems such as Silver Lake Core Banking, Murex, Vision Plus, Intellect Trade Finance, SAP GL, OFSA, Moodys RaY

Expertise for authoring Functional Specs / Solution documents

Experience in building test strategy and test scripts for validation

Experience in implementing data governance processes - reference data management, data lineage, data quality rules, Teradata MDM

Exposure to Big data tools - Hue, Impala; ETL - Informatica PC, DQ, MM; Teradata MDM, Reporting - MS Power BI, Qlik

Project management experience - involving planning, tracking and using waterfall and agile approaches
