Job summary

SGX Group is seeking a Senior Vice President, DevSecOps Lead (Cloud) to define and drive the enterprise DevSecOps strategy across cloud platforms and automation. You will lead secure software delivery, platform engineering, and governance while embedding security into every lifecycle phase.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or software engineering leadership.
• Proven success building enterprise DevSecOps capabilities, engineering platforms, automation frameworks, and secure software delivery practices at scale.
• Technical stack includes Kubernetes, container platforms, CI/CD technologies, infrastructure-as-code, cloud security tooling, observability platforms, and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong experience operating in highly regulated, mission-critical environments with resilience, security, and governance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and leadership of high-performing engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ICT, or related field; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.

The opportunity

The Senior Vice President, DevSecOps Lead (Cloud) is a senior technology leadership role responsible for defining SGX's enterprise DevSecOps strategy, cloud engineering operating model, and secure platform delivery practices. This leader establishes the platforms, processes, controls, and automation capabilities that enable engineering teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-quality technology services at scale. The role combines cloud platform engineering, software security, developer productivity, operational resilience, and engineering excellence to accelerate innovation while maintaining strong governance and risk controls.

Within SGX's Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE), this leader is accountable for establishing secure cloud engineering practices, platform automation, DevSecOps standards, and developer enablement capabilities. The position enables the scalable delivery and operation of cloud services through automation, security-by-design, operational excellence, and engineering productivity.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the transformation of platform delivery and cloud operations across one of Singapore's most important market infrastructure organisations. The role is designed for a leader who is passionate about engineering excellence, automation, cloud-native platforms, and embedding security into every stage of the technology lifecycle.The position provides broader technology leadership responsibilities spanning platform engineering, cloud services, software engineering, operational resilience, and enterprise transformation. What you will do

• DevSecOps Strategy: Define and execute SGX's enterprise DevSecOps strategy, operating model, and transformation roadmap.
• Secure Software Delivery: Establish secure-by-design and secure-by-default engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
• CI/CD Platforms: Define enterprise standards and platform capabilities for continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and release automation.
• Cloud Platform Engineering: Lead cloud platform engineering capabilities that improve developer productivity, platform consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Application Security: Establish software security controls, vulnerability management, code scanning, secrets management, and software supply chain security practices.
• Infrastructure-as-Code & Automation: Define enterprise automation strategies using IaC, policy-as-code, and platform automation frameworks.
• Developer Experience: Drive improvements in engineering productivity through self-service capabilities, standardised tooling, platform services, and AI-assisted development.
• Observability & Reliability: Partner with SRE and engineering teams to establish observability, incident management, reliability engineering, and operational excellence practices.
• Cloud Governance & Compliance: Ensure cloud engineering platforms comply with regulatory requirements, security standards, audit obligations, and risk frameworks.
• Release Engineering: Define enterprise deployment standards, change management controls, and release governance processes.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Build high-performing engineering teams and establish a culture of automation, accountability, security, and continuous improvement.
• Agentic AI Engineering: Define and govern the use of AI-powered engineering capabilities across software development, testing, security analysis, deployment automation, and operational support.
• Own enterprise metrics covering deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, platform adoption, security posture, reliability, and engineering productivity.
• Partner with engineering, security, infrastructure, architecture, risk, and operations leaders to drive technology outcomes and continuous improvement across the software delivery ecosystem.

Essentials

• Experience: Extensive senior leadership experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or software engineering leadership roles.
• Track Record: Proven success building enterprise DevSecOps capabilities, engineering platforms, automation frameworks, and secure software delivery practices at scale.
• Technical Stack: Experience in Kubernetes, container platforms, CI/CD technologies, infrastructure-as-code, cloud security tooling, observability platforms, and modern software engineering practices.
• Standards & Environment: Strong experience operating within highly regulated, mission-critical environments requiring high levels of resilience, security, and governance.
• Communication & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive organisational transformation, and build high-performing engineering organisations.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information and Communications Technology, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
