Job summary

Bosch Corporate Research Singapore invites a motivated student to join as an intern in sustainable HVAC/thermal systems. The project focuses on data analytics and AI algorithms to boost energy efficiency and system reliability.

The role also provides exposure to real-world datasets and modern ML tools. You will build AI/ML functions, analyze data, and help validate solutions while collaborating with an international team of researchers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, CS, AI, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in Python with data-science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
• Experience with time-series and sensor data, including cleaning, feature engineering, anomaly detection, forecasting and classification.
• Ability to develop, validate, and interpret data-driven models using statistical and ML metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-quality troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce technical docs and visualisations.
• Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary, international research team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature research on AI and GenAI in HVAC to improve energy efficiency and fault diagnosis.
• Develop AI/ML functions to analyze data, improve diagnostics, and optimize control strategies.
• Integrate software-hardware modules for field testing and validation.
• Collaborate with international researchers and interns to advance project goals.
• Prepare and present project updates, technical docs, and findings to the team.
