Position Summary

We are recruiting an experienced Senior/Sustainability Consultant to deliver expert advisory services and spearhead green certification programs for our clients' diverse real estate portfolios. This consulting position requires a technically proficient professional with solid mechanical or electrical engineering foundations who can provide strategic sustainability counsel while achieving quantifiable environmental performance improvements across multiple markets and project categories.

Primary Responsibilities
Project Assessment & Compliance Management

Evaluate building designs, construction plans, and documentation to determine compliance with green building standards including Green Mark, LEED, WELL, and other certification frameworks. Conduct comprehensive site inspections to assess construction processes, monitor environmental practices, and ensure certification adherence throughout project delivery.

Technical Analysis & Documentation

Assess environmental impacts of building construction activities and conduct thorough reviews of project materials including energy performance data, material specifications, and sustainability reports. Develop actionable recommendations for impact mitigation and performance enhancement strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory Services

Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and developers to deliver expert sustainability guidance and resolve compliance challenges proactively. Provide training and capacity building programs for project teams and clients on sustainable building methodologies and certification achievement strategies.

Professional Reporting & Industry Leadership

Develop comprehensive assessment reports and maintain meticulous records of all evaluations, strategic recommendations, and certification achievements. Stay current with evolving industry standards, innovative sustainable building technologies, and updated green building certification protocols through continuous research and professional development.

Candidate Requirements
Educational Foundation & Professional Credentials

bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or closely related technical discipline. Preferred certifications include Energy Auditor, SCEM, GMAP, LEED AP, or WELL AP credentials. Current registration as Architect, Professional Engineer, or SCEM certification represents a significant advantage, but not mandatory.

Technical Expertise & Experience

Minimum five years of progressive experience in Environmental Sustainability Design (ESD) or Energy Service Company (ESCO) consulting with demonstrated project leadership capabilities. Strong proficiency in energy modelling, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), HVAC systems design, or mechanical engineering principles essential for building performance optimization. Proven track record delivering Green Mark, LEED, and WELL certified projects with measurable sustainability outcomes.

Professional Competencies

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and diverse client organizations. Strong attention to detail, advanced analytical thinking, and proven ability to develop practical, implementable sustainability solutions. Comprehensive understanding of Green Mark regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Operational Requirements & Technical Skills

Excellent organizational abilities and time management practices with proven capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to function effectively as both collaborative team member and independent consultant. Proven expertise in technical report writing and professional documentation. Willingness to perform hands‑on site assessments as required. Knowledge of ACMV systems, building design software, and AutoCAD capabilities will enhance candidacy.
