Job summary

The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore oversees the maintenance of mission-critical surveillance systems that support safe aircraft monitoring and airport ground operations. You will ensure quality and integrity across projects, upgrade hardware/software, and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and government bodies to meet international standards.

Ideal candidates are trained in electrical/electronic/telecommunications engineering, with experience in safety-critical systems

Qualifications

• Experience in operation or maintenance of safety-critical systems preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements or Linux OS advantageous.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems meet quality, safety, performance and international standards.
• Manage maintenance contractors to standards.
• Ensure compliance with CAAS and government cybersecurity requirements.
• Investigate system faults and follow up on audit findings with contractors and suppliers.
• Plan and carry out upgrades to hardware, software and networks.
• Manage project resources and schedules with internal teams and external parties.
• Coordinate procurement and implementation of replacement surveillance systems.
• Liaise with government agencies, system suppliers, consultants and auditors.
