Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business in Singapore, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to shape sourcing, procurement strategies and supplier partnerships across functions.

You will lead RFx processes, negotiate terms, drive cost reductions, manage supplier performance, and support procurement digitalization in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; CIPS/CPSM bonus.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement strategy.
• Knowledge of RFx/tender management and contract evaluation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies and procurement initiatives aligned with objectives.
• Lead supplier selection, RFx activities, tender exercises, and evaluations.
• Negotiate MSAs, LTAs and other procurement contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships with performance reviews and improvements.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering and spend optimization.
• Assess supplier risk and ensure business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with governance, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Legal, EHS and Business Units.
• Analyze spend, market intel and category trends to support decisions.
• Support procurement transformation, process optimization and digitalization.

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we source, manager and partner with our suppliers. You will work closely with teams across the business to identify opportunities, solve commercial challenges and deliver procurement strategies that improve cost, quality, supplier performance, and business value.

What you will do:

• Develop and execute category strategies, sourcing plans, and procurement initiatives aligned with business objectives.

• Lead supplier selection, RFx (RFI/RFQ/RFP), tender exercises, and commercial evaluations to achieve best value.

• Negotiate commercial terms, Master Service Agreements (MSA), Long-Term Agreements (LTA), and other procurement contracts.

• Manage strategic supplier relationships through supplier performance reviews, continuous improvement, and development initiatives.

• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and demand consolidation initiatives to optimize procurement spend.

• Conduct supplier and supply chain risk assessments to ensure business continuity and mitigate procurement risks.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company governance, policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Legal, EHS, and Business Units) to support strategic sourcing and procurement projects.

• Analyze procurement spend, market intelligence, supplier performance, and category trends to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

• Support procurement transformation, process optimization, digitalization, and best practice

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CIPS/CPSM is an advantage.

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship/project experience are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement strategy are also welcome to apply.

• Knowledge or experience in RFx/tender management, supplier selection, contract evaluation & negotiation (MSA/LTA) is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of supplier performance management, cost reduction, procurement governance, compliance, and risk management.

• Technical procurement experience in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, facilities, industrial equipment, or related technical categories.
