Supply Chain & Material Control Specialist
- Manage import and export documentation, shipping processes, and customs clearance in compliance with Singapore and international trade regulations.
- Plan and manage material requirement, including inventory tracking, stocktaking, and safety stock management.
- Support supply chain planning to ensure timely production and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse partners to ensure on-time delivery and smooth logistics flow.
- Monitor transportation schedules and resolve issues such as delays, shortages, or documentation discrepancies.
- Establish and maintain internal procedures and records for import/export and material control activities.
- Provide material demand forecasts to support production and procurement planning.
- Prepare logistics and material control reports, highlighting trends and recommending improvements.
Role Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related fields.
- Experience with bonded warehouse or Free Trade Zone operations preferred.
- Knowledge of HS Code classification, ECCN, and export control regulations.
- Prior experience in semiconductor or manufacturing material control is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of INCOTERMS, international trade practices, and Singapore customs regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for inventory and material planning.
