Additional Information:
  • US Manufacturing Plant | Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm) onsite
  • Working location in the West region
  • Walking distance from MRT, no transport provided

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement material planning strategies to align with production goals and forecasts.
  • Collaborate across teams such as Engineering, Production, etc. to address supply chain challenges.
  • Periodically review and adjust purchasing strategies to reflect market trends.
  • Monitor system data and inventory reports to maintain optimal stock levels and accurate schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy in daily supplier and production schedules to meet targets.
  • Utilize capacity planning tools to recommend production adjustments based on labour availability.
  • Maintain and improve master scheduling policies to minimize past-due orders.
  • Analyse performance metrics, sales orders, and forecasts to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support the scheduling of new product introductions, including samples and trial production runs.
  • Coordinate new product scheduling and assess expedited orders' impact on production plans.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on projects involving new materials.
  • Conduct regular supplier meetings and manage supplier performance report.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior leadership experience in managing planning, sourcing and procurement teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong in using Excel. Must be familiar with ERP, DRP, MRP, or other inventory system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitasking.
  • Result orientated.
