Job summary

Amperesand PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a motivated Supply Chain & Procurement Intern to support our Global Supply Chain team. The role provides exposure to procurement operations, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and digital transformation initiatives.

You will review workflows, identify process improvements, and assist automation projects to boost efficiency across the supply chain, while learning dashboards using Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• Strong interest in operations, process improvement, data, or digital transformation.
• Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support daily procurement activities, including requisitions, PO creation, and supplier follow-up.
• Monitor open POs and ensure timely delivery to support production.
• Document and map supply chain processes and workflows.
• Assist to streamline flows and create work instructions.
• Support digitalization initiatives to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to dashboards and KPI reporting using Excel/Power BI.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Supply Chain & Procurement Intern to support our Global Supply Chain team in improving end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes. This role provides exposure to procurement operations, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and digital transformation initiatives.

The intern will function similarly to a Junior Buyer while taking an active role in reviewing existing workflows, identifying process improvement opportunities, and supporting automation projects to enhance operational efficiency across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will support in activities such as:

Procurement& Supply Chain Operations, Process Review and Documentation

· Support daily procurement activities, including purchase requisition reviews, purchase order creation, and supplier follow-up.

· Monitor open purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to support factory production requirements.

· Map and document existing supply chain processes, including:

o OrderRequest

o PurchaseRequisition

o PurchaseOrder Processing

o ShipmentTracking

o InventoryPlanning & Replenishment

· Assist to streamline standardized process flows and work instructions.

· Identify operational bottlenecks, duplicate activities, and manual processes

Process Automation& Digitalization

· Support digitalization initiatives to reduce manual transactions and improve workflow efficiency:

oManual data entry

oProcessing lead times

oOperational inefficiencies

· Support dashboards development and reporting using Microsoft Excel, Power BI,SharePoint, or Power Platform tools.

· Collaborate with the global supply chain team to learn the existing workflow and to propose automation plans:

oRequisition-to-Purchase Order Process

oSupplier Follow-up Activities

oShipment Visibility Tracking

oInventory Monitoring

oKPI Reporting

· Evaluate opportunities for real-time visibility and reporting across procurement and logistics activities.
