Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Specialist to coordinate purchasing and logistics activities. Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and hold a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. • Monday - Friday (8.30am - 6.00pm)

• Basic salary up $5000 +VB

• East area (Kaki Bukit)

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute purchasing and logistics activities to support production and delivery schedules.
• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and follow up on order confirmations and deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment based on MRP to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments — including Production, Engineering, QA, and Sales — to align material flow with demand.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics providers for import/export arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing, delivery, and inventory transactions in ERP systems.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, planning, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
