The Role

The successful candidate is responsible to drive demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, and supply planning to improve the availability and efficient inventory management of our stores.

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to accurately predict product demand
  • Effectively build the promotion uplifts and manage trend, seasonality with respect to the DFI Banner stores
  • Collaborate with commercial, category and vendors to ensure timely availability of products
  • Create the supply planning in collaboration with supply partner and monitor inventory levels and adjust replenishment orders as needed
  • Analyse data and use it to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and demand forecasts
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as fill rate and inventory accuracy
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
  • Supplier collaboration & management on performance metrics and end‑to‑end planning execution.
  • Inventory Management - Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements and efficiency measures to enhance the overall performance of the supply chain. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends to incorporate into the supply chain strategy.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of information throughout the supply chain. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address challenges and implement solutions.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain/demand planning role
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory management skills, systems knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI or Data Query/Analytics
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
