Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a quality assurance professional to monitor supplier performance and conduct audits. Period: 1 year contract (Renewable/Convertible)

Location: Boon Lay

Working Hours: Mon – Fri (7:30am-5:15pm)

Salary: Up to $4800

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on key supplier performance metrics on a monthly basis
• Plan and execute scheduled audits for key suppliers, as well as impromptu audits for suppliers with quality issues or high Supplier Non-Conformance Actions (SNCAs)
• Evaluate the quality systems and capabilities of potential new suppliers proposed by Procurement, as well as existing suppliers undergoing scope extension
• Engage and manage suppliers with high SNCAs, ensuring timely issuance and effective implementation of CAPA plans
• Provide quality support to Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA), Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA), and Warranty teams regarding quality issues traced to suppliers/subcontractors

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• Prior experience in a supplier quality or quality assurance role is an added advantage
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
• Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D problem-solving methodology and familiarity with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Certification as an Internal Auditor (or Lead Assessor) is highly advantageous
