Job summary

Applied Materials in Singapore is seeking an experienced supplier quality engineer in the semiconductor coatings domain. You will develop, qualify and manage suppliers for anodization, electropolishing, plating, cleaning, and coating processes, driving quality improvements and solving complex problems.

The role requires 3-5 years in the semiconductor industry and a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Material Science.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify and manage suppliers for anodization, electropolishing, plating, cleaning, coating processes.
  • Lead quality problem resolutions, troubleshooting and incident management, drive root cause, correction actions and prevent recurrence.
  • Lead supplier technical audit process, evaluate supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.
  • Communicate technical requirement and expectation effectively to suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with supplier to design and perform DOEs to define process windows, characterize new requirements, and evaluate chemistries, technologies.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret test data to establish process specifications.
  • Generate comprehensive technical reports for both internal and external teams.
