Job summary

A leading marine and engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced site supervisor to oversee project activities. The role involves reporting to management, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the marine industry.
  • Site/work safety certifications would be an advantage.
  • Ability to prepare progress reports.

Main Responsibilities
  • Report to Project Director and Project Manager on site matters and progress of work
  • Able to lead a team of foreign workers
  • Identifying and resolving workplace problems with all the main contractors, subcontractors & suppliers
  • Ensure compliance of WSH Regulation & Safety Procedures and maintain good house-keeping
  • Monitor, coordinate, and keep track of the site work progress to ensure quality and efficient manner
  • Supervise & coordinate the activities at project site.
  • Control and maintain the safe and smooth progress of work.
  • Handle project documentation, monitoring of site activities, material requisition, cost control, projectsupervision and schedule of works;
  • Supervise site progress which includes attending site meeting and discussion;
  • Undertake any ad-hoc project assignments as and when assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience or background in Marine industry.
  • Site/work safety certifications would be an advantage.
  • Good team player, leader, desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company.
  • Able to prepare progress report.
