A local culinary services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced culinary leader to oversee kitchen operations. Responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring food safety compliance, and handling daily operations in a high-volume environment. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in a food stall setting and possess strong communication skills.
• Understand culinary procedures for local cuisine such as Mixed Rice, Bee Hoon, Roasted Duck Rice, Chicken Rice, Western Food, Fish Ball Noodles, etc.
• Must possess culinary skills and hold a valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Minimum 1 to 10 years of relevant experience in a food stall or hawker environment.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team of kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Capable of handling daily operations including stock control, food preparation supervision, hygiene maintenance, and customer service.
• Able to work under pressure and handle high-volume meal periods effectively.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work well with both team members and customers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Prior experience in supervising or managing a food stall will be an advantage.
