Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor, coordinate, and track site progress with both internal teams and external contractors to ensure all work is carried out according to project specifications and schedule.
• Ensure strict compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, particularly for carpentry work, ensuring that all tasks are executed accurately on-site.
• Supervise carpentry and other construction activities on-site, providing guidance to the team and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Manage, train, and mentor site workers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Resolve issues and provide solutions in a timely manner, ensuring work continues smoothly even under pressure.
• Ensure proper documentation of site activities and materials used, reporting back to senior management on progress.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in carpentry and construction site supervision, with a solid understanding of construction drawings.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in carpentry and site supervision.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems quickly on-site.
• Able to work independently and collaborate well with external teams.

Salary Range: $4,000 - $6,000 (Based on experience)
