The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating site operations, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. The role involves managing site workers, monitoring progress, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining smooth communication between site and management teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and workforce deployment.
- Ensure all site works comply with safety, quality, and project requirements.
- Plan and organize manpower, tools, and materials needed for each project phase.
- Inspect and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices.
- Communicate project updates, issues, and requirements to the Project/Operation Manager.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients for site coordination.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, attendance, and material usage records.
- Identify potential delays or issues and propose corrective actions.
- Train and guide workers to maintain performance and safety standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering (or relevant discipline).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in site supervision or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiar with WSH and BCA regulations in Singapore.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, reporting).
- WSH Safety Supervisor / BCSS / bizSAFE Level 2 certification (preferred).
- Possession of Class 3 Driving Licence is an advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full‑time, site‑based position.
- Work schedule: As per project needs (including weekends/public holidays if required).
- Work location: Various construction sites across Singapore.
