Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Singapore. You will join a high-performing team and contribute to projects that enhance security, reliability, and performance in our payments platform.

The role offers exposure to end-to-end development, from design to rollout, with hands-on real-work experience and a structured internship program that includes mentorship and performance assessments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jul 2028.
• Commit to internship from 3 May 2027 to 23 Jul 2027; start/end dates cannot be negotiated.
• Must possess full working rights; no visa sponsorship needed.
• Exposure to algorithms, data structures, and core CS concepts.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, C# or similar languages.
• Exposure to automated tests to verify code correctness.
• Knowledge of Git deployment and task management tools.
• Familiar with debugging tools and tracing for diagnosing issues.

• Experience various phases of software development from design through rollout.
