Job summary

Nomura Research Institute Singapore Pte Ltd invites applications for a Summer 2027 Internship as a Business Analyst in Management Consulting (Research & Strategy). The program runs May–Aug 2027 and places you on active cases alongside advisors to solve challenging problems while gaining broad exposure to the strategy consulting field.

Interns demonstrating exceptional performance may be offered a full-time Business Analyst role after graduation.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates in their penultimate or final year of study; strong academic record.
• Experience in hypothesis-based research related consulting projects may be advantageous.
• Internship experience in research or strategy consulting industry may be advantageous but not a must.
• Strong critical thinking and analytic capabilities with hypothesis-driven research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work closely in project teams.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Hiring full-time interns only.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a project member for management consulting projects.
• Pro-actively work on current and new management consulting projects related to research and strategy development such as market analysis, go-to-market strategy, feasibility study, competitor analysis, etc., on your work-stream of the projects.
• Identify business solution strategies by consolidating information sources, conducting detailed analysis and translating into actionable insights.
• Translate findings into insightful deliverables and present to key project internal/external stakeholders.
• May assist in preparing business development materials to generate potential project pipelines and follow up on the projects.
