Job summary

GovTech invites applications for a social work role focused on holistic support for ITE students-at-risk. You will work with students, families, and community partners to enable continued education and access to resources.

Responsibilities include assessment, home visits, referrals, data documentation, and collaboration with government agencies for holistic care. Requires credentials in social work and strong commitment to youth welfare.

Qualifications

• Credentials in a relevant social work discipline will be an advantage.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of direct clinical work/casework in the social service sector with youth and families.
• Good knowledge of social services landscape in Singapore.
• Demonstrated passion and disposition for working with youth and families; culturally sensitive and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Engage and connect with students and their challenges.
• Provide case assessment and set goals/outcomes with students and families.
• Visit students’ homes or relevant locations for assessment and support.
• Refer students and families to relevant stakeholders within and outside ITE.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide holistic care and support to students.
• Document, track, monitor and report on cases.
