Job summary

The International French School (IFS) in Singapore seeks a Wellbeing School Counsellor to provide direct, high-quality counselling for students and staff. You will work under the Wellbeing Centre Manager to manage caseloads, support crisis response, and deliver evidence-based mental health workshops.

Responsibilities include confidential documentation, safeguarding coordination, and cross-department collaboration to implement tailored support plans for diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Degree: Masters or Bachelor's in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Accreditation: Registered or eligible for registration with a professional body.
• Clinical Practice: 3–5 years post-qualification counselling experience, ideally in international education.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling for students addressing social, emotional, academic, and mental health needs.
• Manage caseload and capacity with 5–20 weekly slots and 4–8 baseline sessions per student.
• Support employee wellbeing and escalate to external services when needed.
• Deliver ongoing wellbeing workshops for students, staff, and parents in collaboration with the line manager.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure safeguarding and data protection adherence.
