Job summary

A local staffing agency based in Singapore is seeking a School Support Officer for a 12-month contract. The role involves patrolling the school compound, maintaining student discipline, and acting as a point of contact for parents. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a school setting and possess a minimum of GCE O or N Level Certificate. Office proficiency and a proactive team player attitude are essential. Work hours include Mondays to Fridays with weekends off.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Patrol school compound and nearby areas before, during, and after school hours
  • Maintain student discipline during recess and lunch breaks
  • Provide disciplinary support for one student level (approx. 270 students)
  • Manage late-coming, attire checks, and hair checks
  • Provide interim care for students when required
  • Act as point of contact for parents on student management matters
  • Assist in preliminary investigations and manage detention/suspension follow-ups
  • Resolve student conflicts using Restorative Practices
  • Track and analyse late-coming data; perform data entry on student matters
  • Stand in for relief teaching duties when required
  • Assist with administrative duties during school holidays/term breaks
  • Support school safety matters (e.g. traffic direction)
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by School Leaders or Management
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE O or N Level Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Preferably at least 3 years of experience working in a school setting
  • Enjoy working with students; proactive and a good team player
Duration / Working hours

12 months contract (Option to extend) 1 Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027

Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 7:00 am to 4.30 pm, inclusive of
30 minutes lunch break
Tuesdays and Fridays: 7:00 am to 3.30 pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch
break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
