A secondary educational institution in Singapore is seeking a candidate to supervise detention sessions and operate the Student Management Centre. Mon–Fri: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (incl. 1-hour lunch break)
🚫 No work on Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays
1. Detention Session (DS) Coordination
Supervise detention sessions daily after school
Implement, monitor & maintain consistency of DS processes
Follow up with defaulters
Maintain accurate records/data of detention attendance
Update Form Teachers
Ensure DS remains an effective deterrent
2. Student Management Centre Operations
Upkeep & operate the Student Management Centre
Manage loan/issuing of items, lost-and-found & early leave cases
Attend to unwell students
Update late-coming & attendance records
Liaise with teachers, Year Heads, HODs & School Leaders
3. Case Management & Follow-up
Work with Student Management Team on disciplinary cases
Report potential issues to HOD / YH / SL
Supervise students serving disciplinary actions (suspension, detention)
Daily sign-in/out monitoring
Support follow-up for frequent absentees
Conduct home visits with officers
Liaise with Police/authorities for verification or follow-up
4. Maintain School Tone & Safety
Assist Ops Managers in upholding school security & tone
Conduct regular monitoring and foot patrols
Monitor students during recess, after school & non-structured hours
Check on external visitors and assist where required
5. Additional Duties
Provide support during national examinations (escort, patrolling, managing waiting areas)
Assist PE Department during sports activities/events
Support After-School Engagement programmes (GEAR UP)
Monitor students in Extended School Term programmes
Manage Student Management data & records
Daily non-compliance
Grooming/attire offences
Handphone misuse
Filing of profiling records
Upkeep latecomer data
📘 Minimum Requirements
GCE ‘O’ Level (or equivalent work experience)
Able to build rapport with students
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
Able to manage online school data systems
Detail-oriented, able to multi-task
Keen learner & strong team player
