FAVEDUCATION LEARNING CENTRE PTE. LTD. invites dedicated Student Care Teachers to guide Primary 1-6 students in a safe, nurturing setting that supports social, emotional, and academic growth.

You will supervise, assist with homework and English/Chinese spelling, and run enrichment activities aligned with our syllabus to promote learning and development.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline.
• Experience working with students in a classroom setting.
• Familiar with school syllabus.
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive environment.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fetch and supervise students from nearby schools and bus-stops safely.
• Support daily homework and English/Chinese spelling and assignments.
• Conduct enrichment activities promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Foster positive behaviour and social skills in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and staff on student progress.
• Design engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and centre operations.
• Ensure facilities and materials are well-maintained; assist with admin tasks.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Student Care Teachers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for Primary 1-6 students. You will support their social, emotional, and academic development, fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Safety

• Fetching students from nearby schools and bus-stop safely.


• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.


• Monitor activities and provide appropriate guidance.

Academic & Holistic Support

• Provide guidance on daily school homework, English and Chinese spelling and assignments.


• Conduct enrichment programmes according to our syllabus that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.


• Encourage a love for learning.

Behaviour Management

• Foster positive behaviour and social skills.


• Promote a safe and inclusive environment where students can learn and develop their social skills.


• Serve as an inspiring role model and engage students in meaningful conversations.

Communication

• Maintain professional and regular communication with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns.

Program Development

• Design and implement engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and teamwork, including arts and crafts, sports, and educational games.

Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance.

Others

• Ensure that the centre's facilities and materials are well-maintained.


• Sanitise and maintain good classroom hygiene and cleanliness.


• Manage other administrative & operational duties.

Requirements

• A Degree in any discipline.


• Experience working with students in a classroom setting.


• Familiar with school syllabus.


• Ability to create a positive, inclusive environment.

Working Conditions

• Monday to Friday


• School Term: 1pm-7pm


• School Holidays: 7:30am-4:30pm / 10am-7pm


• Availability to work on Saturdays when required
