Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Structural Engineer in Singapore. The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in Design & Build condominium projects. Responsibilities include reviewing structural drawings, liaising with consultants, and obtaining necessary approvals.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Coordination on of Structural Drawings: Review structural design drawings and documents submit ed by the consultant for constructability, compliance with project specifications and potential clashes with other disciplines. Responsible for scheduling and issuance of FW/CBP drawings and sub cons structural shop drawings align with project schedule and construction on activities.

• Liaison with Consultants and Subcontractors: Working closely with structural consultants/architectural/M&E engineers and various subcontractors to resolve structural/technical issues and ensure smooth integra on of different disciplines.

• Statutory Approvals: Assis ng in the preparation on and submission of structural drawings/ documents to relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals such as Corenet X Gateways, Building Plan (BP), Structural Plan (ST), Works Permit (WP), Temporary Occupation on Permit (TOP) and Certificate of Statutory Comple on (CSC). Keep track of the status of submissions and liaise with authorities to expedite the approval process.

• Technical Support and Problem Solving: Provide technical support to the site team on structural-related matters, interpreting design drawings and resolving site queries.

• Maintaining proper documenta on of design changes, site instruc ons (CVIs/RFIs/SDAs) and correspondences.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Structural Design Engineer, Project Engineer or Structural Coordinator on Design & Build condominium projects for A1 main contractors. Candidates with C&S consultant firm experience and design background will be preferred.
