Job Scope
  • Serve as the technical focal point for aircraft structural repairs, modifications, and damage evaluations.
  • Review, interpret, and apply structural repair manuals (SRM), engineering drawings, and technical documents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to develop repair schemes and ensure repair instructions strictly follow approved data.
  • Assess aircraft damage and determine appropriate corrective actions in compliance with OEM and aviation authority guidelines.
  • Provide engineering support to maintenance teams on repair methods, structural tolerances, and material specifications.
  • Review and prepare documentation, including repair reports, deviation requests, and engineering justifications.
  • Ensure all repair work aligns with safety, reliability, and airworthiness standards.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Quality, Production) to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Perform root-cause investigations for structural-related defects and propose preventive measures.
  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair assessments, engineering approvals, and technical communications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives enhancing engineering workflow, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in aircraft structures, heavy maintenance, repair assessment, or related MRO environment.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft structural repair methods, materials (composite/metallic), SRM interpretation, and aviation regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to analyze structural damage, develop repair recommendations, and assess repair feasibility.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills when working with engineering, production, and quality teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Able to work independently with sound engineering judgement and attention to detail.
  • Candidates with prior experience in MRO, Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, or OEM repair support will have an advantage.
