Job summary

STEELTECH INDUSTRIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a drafter to convert construction drawings and sketches into shop drawings, and to prepare fabrication drawings with cutting lists.

You will also produce as-built drawings after project completion and perform material quantity take-offs while coordinating with the site team. Requirements include a degree in civil engineering or building, 2–3 years of related experience, and familiarity with Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Building is required.
• 2–3 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge in structural steelwork and metalwork is advantageous.
• Familiar with Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Create shop drawings from construction drawings, hand-drawn sketches and verbal preparations.
• Prepare fabrication drawings and cutting lists for materials.
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Perform quantity take-offs of materials for ordering.
• Liaise with site team for shop drawing detailing and coordination.
• Ensure final designs comply with regulations, quality standards and client/company specs.
