Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher across any discipline.
• Experience in FMCG is advantageous.
• Strong project management skills.
• Team player with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Resourceful, problem solver and result oriented.
• Ability to run sourcing tenders and create clean sheets.
• Good understanding of supply chain dynamics, product specs, quality control, seasonality, cost drivers and volume fluctuations.
• Strong business acumen and data analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Product Development and Management: Oversee all stages of product development from sourcing to final production, shipping, and launch.
• Product Specification: Define and translate commercial requirements into detailed product specs (quality, packaging, attributes).
• Supplier Identification and Sourcing: Identify potential new suppliers through various channels.
• Tender Management: Prepare and execute sourcing tenders, analyze results, and develop negotiation strategies.
• Negotiation and Contract Development: Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers focusing on volume, price, quality, logistics.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Engage in regular negotiations and business reviews to drive continuous improvement and adherence to quality/service agreements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Brand & Business Development, Food Safety, Inventory, Marketing, and Operations for successful launches.
• Inventory and Forecast Management: Monitor levels and align forecasts with trade plans.
• Promotion Management: Manage promotion planning and ensure product sales and penetration.
