Job summary

Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Strategic Planning Assistant Manager in Smart Utilities & Infrastructure to develop and execute long-term strategies. You will work closely with LOBs and corporate strategy to shape business directions and drive multi-year plans.

The role demands strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities. Relevant experience and a degree in engineering or business are required for success.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, business development, or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication including senior management presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management; works well across business development, sales, marketing, finance, etc.
• Highly organized, and able to multi-task.
• Intelligent self-starter with resilience and resourcefulness.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic points of views and insights for strategy discussions with Lines of Businesses and the corporate strategy team.
• Help develop, frame and support execution of business strategies.
• Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, competitor activity, and internal performance data to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
• Drive LOB Group Strategy Cycle including 5 year strategy plans and budget cycles with sales, BD and finance.
• Develop business cases and strategic recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
• Align presentations from respective LOBs into a coherent storyline for Senior Leadership.
• Coordinate and integrate information for internal and external stakeholder communication.

• Aligning and integrating presentations from respectiveLOBsinto a coherent storyline for Senior Leadership
• Coordinate, consolidate and integrate the different sources of primary and secondary information for internal & external stakeholder communication (e.g. Senior Leadership presentations and key meetings with external stakeholders)
