As a Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Travel Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding the company’s B2B client portfolio by building strong relationships with corporate customers and delivering customized travel solutions. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Your role will involve preparing tailored proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, while upholding service excellence and professionalism across all client touchpoints.
The day-to-day activities:
- Actively source, maintain and generate new leads for the Company relating to corporate travel sales, including nurturing and maintaining client relationships.
- Drive corporate client acquisition to meet monthly volume and sales targets, focusing on expanding Silkway’s presence within the Singapore market.
- Represent Silkway locally as the main point of contact, building and maintaining trust-based client relationships, especially in the absence of the Tokyo-based PICs.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of decision-makers within targeted industries.
- Proactively upsell and cross-sell travel-related services – including flights, hotel bookings, MICE support, concierge services, insurance, and eSIM – to maximize revenue and client value.
- Stay updated on industry trends and conduct market and competitor research to refine sales strategies.
- Analyze customer behavior to support client acquisition and retention through customer enquiries and feedback
- Join business meetings, networking events, and industry functions to represent Silkway, expand the client base, and maintain strong long-term relationships.
- Ensure all transactions and proposals comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards, maintaining proper documentation for audits and reviews.
- Lead the sales strategy for corporate ticketing while managing various sales channels to drive bookings, renewals, and account growth.
- Provide high-level customer service, addressing travel-related issues, booking complications, and client complaints promptly and professionally.
- Elevate Silkway’s brand awareness through active participation in strategic industry events and client engagement initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of travel experiences offered.
- Provide administrative and operational support when necessary (eg. Tracking payments, travel reports)
- Perform any other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor or management
What we are looking for:
- 3–5 years of B2B corporate sales experience, preferably in the travel industry
- Familiarity with Singapore’s business and corporate travel landscape
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting targets
- Strong communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint / Google Slides)
- Well-organized with the ability to manage client schedules and reports (Excel / Google Sheets)
- Experience working independently and driving initiatives with minimal supervision
- Existing network of corporate travel decision-makers is a strong advantage
- Open-minded, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Flexible to travel on short business assignments with minimal notice.
