Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, SCM or Logistics.
- 2–3 years in production planning and buying.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook; SAP experience desirable.
- Experience in low-volume high-mix manufacturing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials, components and equipment per MRP or reorder point.
- Drive gross margin improvements with supplier pricing & costs.
- Improve supplier cycle time and lead times through negotiations.
- Ensure timely PO execution and address supplier issues.
- Push suppliers to meet on-time delivery.
- Participate in supplier business reviews and provide feedback.
- Review and execute ECO/ECO changes to avoid production impact.
- Develop actions to minimize excess inventory and assist quarterly reviews.
- Improve inventory turns with MRB and RTV actions.
- Review safety stock quarterly to balance supply vs turns.
