Job summary

Prudential Assurance Company Singapore is seeking a life underwriting professional to assess medical and financial risks for life and health insurance applicants. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate risk exposures and make decisions within your authority, aligned with market trends.

The role involves face-to-face and virtual servicing with Financial Consultants/Agency Leaders, processing requests end-to-end, and participating in ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of life underwriting experience.
• ACII/ANZIIF/ALU/LOMA qualifications preferred.
• Sound knowledge of medical conditions and insurance regulations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health policies.
• Make underwriting decisions within authority and aligned with market trends.
• Review cases with complex medical conditions and multiple risk factors.
• Interact with Financial Consultants/Agency Leaders via face-to-face or calls.
