Job summary

AccountStaff in Singapore seeks a Legal Director / Legal Counsel to lead the company's legal function. You will provide comprehensive legal, contractual, and compliance support, partnering with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations to manage contract lifecycles.

The role focuses on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, developing templates and playbooks, and enforcing governance policies to safeguard the business in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in law.
• Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (supplier, procurement, customer contracts, logistics, NDAs).
• Develop and maintain legal templates, contract playbooks, and internal guidelines.
• Establish and enforce internal legal and governance policies.
• Support HR in ensuring compliance with Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations.
