Job summary

ASM is seeking a Supply Planning Lead for Components to secure material availability across its worldwide supply network. You will transform demand signals into robust supply and capacity plans, aligning suppliers with internal stakeholders while balancing service levels, inventory, and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or operations management.
• 7+ years of experience in supply planning or related fields within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in MRP, supply planning, inventory management, and supplier capacity planning.
• Proven experience translating demand forecasts into actionable supply strategies.
• Experience managing supply constraints and collaborating with external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply planning for component categories across the value chain.
• Translate demand forecasts into executable supply and capacity plans.
• Govern MRP processes and planning parameters to convert demand into material requirements.
• Continuously improve planning effectiveness, execution reliability, and supply responsiveness.
• Develop and manage supplier scheduling agreements and capacity planning frameworks.
• Monitor supplier capacity against short-, mid-, and long-term demand.
• Lead capacity allocation during constrained supply situations.
• Drive level-loading strategies to improve supplier stability and performance.
• Align demand and supply with time-phased supply plans and with Demand Planning.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes through supply planning.
