Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance with CA and postgraduate qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance.
• Knowledge of tax legislation.
• Familiar with Singapore accounting standards and Companies Act.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales and cost forecasts, cashflow forecasts, and management accounts for divisions.
• Ensure timely submission of reports to management.
• Oversee the Accounts Department and review day-to-day work.
• Monitor collections from customers within credit limits.
• Ensure prompt supplier payments and review banking documents.
• Check accuracy of accounting records and review GST submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and bankers.
• Assist CEO and Financial Controller on business projects.
