A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Head of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing financial operations, budgeting, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a finance degree, professional certifications, and significant experience in a leadership role within the industry. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in security, manpower, facilities management, or service-based industries is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore corporate regulations, taxation, and financial reporting standards (SFRS).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
• Lead the annual budget planning process and monitor budget performance.
• Ensure full compliance with Singapore financial regulations, including IRAS, MOM, CPF, and ACRA requirements.
• Partner with Operations, HR, and Commercial teams on pricing, manpower costing, and contract profitability.
• Lead, train, and mentor the Finance team.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Skills

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero)

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally intensive environment

Education

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional certifications such as CPA, CA Singapore, ACCA preferred
