Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Singapore is seeking a Balance Sheet & NIM Analyst to support financial performance initiatives across the Group. You will analyze balance sheet drivers, prepare reports, and collaborate with Treasury and Finance to enhance forecasting and decision-making.

The role requires a degree in finance-related fields and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics skills, including Power BI, Python, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant banking/treasury FP&A experience.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with automated reporting skills.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Python, SQL and AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Understanding of NII, NIM and balance sheet drivers; strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis on balance sheet, funding, asset growth, and interest rate scenarios.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reports, forecasts, and models.
• Develop and maintain models for balance sheet performance, NII, NIM, and profitability trends.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and planning with data gathering and validation.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Risk and Business teams for planning and decisions.
• Monitor industry trends and macro indicators affecting balance sheet strategy.
• Enhance analytics tools, reporting capabilities, data infrastructure; participate in automation and AI analytics.
