About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Storeman to join our kitchen team. The storeman job responsibilities are:

Inventory & Stock Control
  • Receive and check incoming goods against delivery orders and invoices.
  • Verify quantity, quality, expiry dates, and packaging condition.
  • Record stock movement accurately in inventory system or stock cards.
  • Maintain FIFO / FEFO practices for all food items.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist in monthly stock take.
  • Any other work duties assigned by superior.
Storage & Handling
  • Storw raw materials, ingredients, and packaging correctly in dry, chiller, or freezer areas.
  • Ensure proper labelling, segregation, and cleanliness of storage areas.
  • Monitor temperature and storage conditions according to food safety requirements.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards at all times.
Issuance & Coordination
  • Issue ingredients and supplies to kitchen production based on requisitions.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, and QA teams on stock availability.
  • Flag low stock levels, discrepancies, damages, or expired items promptly.
Food Safety & Compliance
  • Comply with SFA / HACCP / ISO / internal food safety standards.
  • Follow pest control, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Support audits, inspections, and traceability documentation.
General Duties
  • Assist with unloading, loading, and internal stock transfers.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, etc.).
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
