Job summary

This position involves daily cleaning and maintenance duties as well as overseeing the receipt and management of pharmaceutical supplies. Ideal candidates will have at least a GCE N' or O' Level Certificate, and previous experience in a relevant setting is advantageous. Work location: Bukit Batok
Work hours: 5.5 days work week (Mon – Fri and half Sat), office hours.
Responsibilities
Housekeeping
  • Clean and maintain pharmacy counters, cashier areas, work tables, and display shelves daily.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as organising and disposing of packaging materials or carton boxes.
  • Ensure that all work and storage areas are kept tidy and hygienic at all times.
Inventory Control
  • Receive, verify, and record incoming pharmaceutical supplies and consumables.
  • Distribute items to designated sections, clinics, or nursing areas, ensuring proper documentation of all stock movements.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and alert supervisors when items are low or require reordering.
  • Replenish inventory following the First‑Expiry‑First‑Out (FEFO) principle. Conduct routine checks to remove expired or damaged items and manage their disposal with proper authorisation.
  • Oversee the proper handling and return of goods between departments and vendors.
  • Ensure all products are stored properly and that storage spaces are organised and compliant with safety standards.
  • Accurately pre‑pack tablets, capsules, and liquid preparations according to established procedures.
  • Track the usage of general consumables (e.g., paper, plastic bags, Ziploc bags) and initiate reorders when necessary.
  • Update all stock transactions and receipts in the inventory management system (e.g., SAP or equivalent software).
  • Assist in cycle counts and stock‑taking exercises.
