Job description

The Logistics Officer supports the execution of the client's non-core supply processing functions by assisting the Logistics Supervisor and Project Manager in day-to-day operations, manpower planning, logistics coordination, and administrative functions.

This role ensures that all site operations run smoothly, safely, and in accordance with the client’s requirements and standards. Required to be security cleared up to CAT 2A.

Job Scope
  • Assist the Supervisor and Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and deploying manpower to meet project requirements.
  • Support daily site operations and ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
  • Ensure quality service delivery to the Authority and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in incident and accident reporting and investigations.

Process and carry stores as when required

  • Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control and stock management.
  • Stuffing/unstuffing of stores
  • Loading/unloading of items from vessels
  • Setting up of events and exhibitions including manual labour required by the client under supervision
  • Ushering and marshalling works under the weather
  • Support procurement processing, including verification, preparation, monitoring, and tracking of materials.
  • Provide end-to-end material support using the Authority’s IT systems, including maintenance of Material Master Data.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management and audit reports in the required format.

Perform logistics support duties, such as:

  • Managing and maintaining unit store records in the Authority’s IT systems.
  • Conducting stocktaking as instructed.
  • Indenting rations and transport when required.
  • Providing manpower support for unit events and activities.
  • Receiving goods from the Authority’s contractors.

Provide administrative support including document scanning, photocopying, data compilation, and moving office materials.

  • Assist in administrative processing tasks such as facilitation of disposals as instructed by the units.
  • Support management of buildings and infrastructure, including trainee accommodation planning.
  • Escort the Authority’s contractors within base/camp, including movement from guardhouse to units and back.
  • Assist in managing conference facilities such as auditoriums and halls, including scheduling, AV setup, and housekeeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Job requirements
  • Required to be security cleared up to CAT 2A
  • Minimum ITE certification or equivalent
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Medically fit to perform the functions stated in the scope of work
  • Preferred to have at least three years of working experience in Supply Chain or Logistics Management, with knowledge in stock management and experience in using Procurement IT Systems (e.g. SAP) optional/preferred
