Job summary

A local fresh produce retailer in Singapore is looking for a Retail Manager to supervise daily operations of their shop. You will lead a small team, ensure product quality, manage inventory, and handle customer inquiries. Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of the fruit shop, including sales, cashiering, inventory, and customer service.
  • Lead and motivate a small team of retail assistants to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards.
  • Ensure product freshness, quality, and proper display of fruits.
  • Manage stock ordering, receiving, and inventory control to minimize wastage.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve any operational issues.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and assist management in planning promotions or product displays.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards in the store.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail or F&B management, preferably in fresh produce or supermarket environment.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and handle store operations with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (POS, Excel, or inventory system).
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
