The Store Design Executive supports the development and execution of store design projects, ensuring all designs reflect the brand’s identity and enhance customer experience. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, producing design documentation, and assisting in project coordination. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and creative professional with strong technical and communication skills, eager to contribute to high-quality retail environments.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, conceptualization, and development of store layouts and interior design proposals
- Produce accurate technical drawings, detailed millwork and fixture documentation, and full drawing packages required for construction
- Develop 3D design models and renderings using SketchUp and V-Ray for internal reviews, presentations, and stakeholder approvals
- Ensure all drawings meet design guidelines, local building regulations, and market-specific requirements
- Review, refine, and cross-check drawings before issuance to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with brand standards
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments throughout the design and execution process
- Assist in material and fixture selections aligned with cost, durability, functionality, and market standards
- Provide support throughout the project life cycle, including design clarification during construction and post-build evaluation
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
- 2 - 3 years of relevant design experience, preferably in retail environments, commercial spaces, or hospitality
- Proficient in key design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray (3D Max, Photoshop, Lumion, Enscape is considered an advantage)
- Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, lighting concepts, and construction documentation
- Excellent attention to detail with strong design accuracy, organization, and file management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under time-sensitive deadlines
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn and grow
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Interest in retail, consumer, brand experience, fashion, and design trends is a plus
