Job summary

Singapore General Hospital is seeking an Instrument Technician Associate in the Sterile Supply Unit. You will be responsible for providing sterile and serviceable instruments and equipment used in operating theatres and procedural rooms.

You will participate in decontamination, inspection, preparation, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution, and you will contribute to process-improvement projects as you gain experience in the department.

Qualifications

• National ITE Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or related fields.
• Able to work 3 rotating shifts (8am to 4.35pm; 1pm to 9.35pm; 9pm to 7.30am), including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile and serviceable surgical instruments and equipment.
• Involve in decontamination, inspection, preparation, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution to operating theatres and procedural rooms.
• Participate in projects involving work-process improvements as you gain experience in the department.

Education
